Sunday Night Figure Fever

So I got lucky and found a figure drawing group... FOR FREE! Love it. First time models so the atmosphere is really relaxed. I brought a bottle of wine and we had beers and whatnot.

We will be meeting every week so I'll probably be posting alot of figures.

Its been about 2 years maybe more since I did some solid life drawing. But MAN did it feel great to be drawing again. I was so hesitant / lazy about getting back on the horse. I feel like a whale thats been living in disguise with humans and suddenly reintroduced to water again. I'm a little rusty but here's what I came away with.

A trip to the MFA!

Went to see the Richard Avedon exhibit at the MFA in Boston last night. Got in at approximately 9:07 pm and got to see all of the exhibit. PHEW! I Thought for sure we were gonna miss it when we accidentally took the wrong green line train!

Pretty awesome little show, though. It was full of a bunch of the greats, and many I didn't know were his! Here's to museums spreading knowledge of the arts!

HOLY COW i'm back finally...

So I'm just gonna start posting a whole bunch of random things. Old art / doodles etc. Just to get the flow going again.

Last night while stumped on a project I decided to re-create the new iTunes logo in flash.

Stupid Life

So looks like its gonna be a long week at work, seeing how its 4 am and I'm still in the office.

Ye 'Ol Blog will have to wait until next week to really get going.
